We don't have to look at Spammers threads either but they get removed.

666537 2008-05-09 08:31:00 I don't see why it would since it was posted as a discussion thread about a soon to be released product from Vodafone. Its no different than a discussion about the next model of the EEEEPC. vitalstatistix (9182)

Because your an irritating one-eyed broken record with little grasp on reality, and one massive and quite bizarre over-riding (and just plain weird as a three eyed fish) agenda.

I could say that freakphones are a bit OT, but I won't.

666540 2008-05-09 08:59:00 That is the standard part of Apple's agreement with the carriers ( it is the first time such an agreement has been set up like that). I think Apple gets around 10% of the monthly user revenue from the iPhone on top of the sale price although where the iPhone is unlocked Apple only gets the iPhone sale - still with the amount of iPhones Apple has geared up to sell through the various Telcos in the UK and Europe by the end of 2009 that is going to be a LOT of revenue to book - it will actually be done as deferred revenue so the full impact won't be seen till the final quarter of 2009 I think. Something to do with the accounting model that Apple is using for the subscription type service on the iPhone where purchase cost + subscription = deferred revenue (or something to that effect)

I don't agree. Infact the iphone sort of device is really the future of mobile internet, and does currently have the best mobile browser. Look at how many companies are now copying apple with their new mobile divices.

You might want to do that while they are still under $200 a share. They closed at $185.06 today. They were at $129 a share in January.

I would have to agree with robbyp on this one. 1/3 of Fortune 500 companies in the US are developing enterprise apps for the iPhone with the SDK which means that from June onwards the iPhone is going to become part of enterprise computing as it gets introduced by the workforce.
