I don't worry overly about the company's bottom line .

That reads real well

Happy lot aren't we  A few months back some of us had to change browser settings to get PF1 to even load - now we are trying to close sections down . :p

666847 2008-05-07 23:57:00 Wow, installed Stylish (which I hadn't heard of before), pasted your stuff Bletch, and WOW... Thanks a lot - that is much better than Adblock. There are still a couple of greyed out boxes left behind, but...! :)Hmmm, looks like this is a difference between Opera 9.50b2 and everything else - my browser blocks those boxes, but, yours doesn't (and neither does Opera 9.2x). Watch this space, I'm working on it. Erayd (23)

I think he means to say that he lets others worry about the bottom line - Jan is more interested in providing a service that works - customer-focussed, rather than money-focussed .

666849 2008-05-08 00:02:00 Bletch, I have just found that your solution doesn't play happily with videos on YouTube (or else it doesn't play happily with Flashblock).

When you go on to YouTube with Firefox/Flashblock/Stylish, you get the familar flash logo, but when you click on it, the video disappears. If I disable Stylish it works again.

Have I done something wrong?

Yeah I know - Just being silly :banana PF1 still even with the ads is easier to navigate around than some sites, just the scroll wheel get more use now. wainuitech (129)

Have I done something wrong?Possibly. You shouldn't be applying that style to all sites, just to PressF1 (as it may mess with other sites in ways you didn't intend!). If you have only applied it to PressF1, then there is no way it can affect YouTube.

666852 2008-05-08 00:46:00 That is indeed what I have done by accident. I have tried to deal to it to make it only apply to one site, but it steadfastly refuses to change from "Everything"... John H (8)
666853 2008-05-08 01:03:00 You'll need to ask a stylish user how to do that sorry - I know it is certainly possible, but I don't use firefox (and therefore and have never used stylish)... Erayd (23)
666854 2008-05-08 01:07:00 Thanks Bletch. I started from scratch, and found a way to do it. I just hadn't found the right way to insert site rules so it applied to everything. Now it is targeted correctly. Thanks again. John H (8)

How exactly did you do that John? I can only get it applied to all everything.
