2008-05-08 22:35:00 | Is this the same Consumer that said "Thorn" was the absolute best TV? :banana :waughh: | R2x1 (4628) | |

You can also download a free trial but there are a couple of bugs in the free software (early expiration of trail) but apart from that it works a treat. Hope that helps regards Matt |

2008-07-25 00:43:00 | consumer credability = ZERO Consumer ALWAYS test and slam the 'brand' names . In a recent tv roundup, they determined Sony and I think Panasonic were the best brands . All the rest were ok, while Philips was the worst . Based on what I have heard, Philips are the most common brand requiring repair, so I guess consumer lines up with that . But I question their technical ability to review things . They should stick to household items and leave the technical stuff to PCworld :p

2008-07-25 01:27:00 | Is that the same PCWorld that rated Norton's so highly? I'm not sure, I dont actually follow PC world closely. I'm surprised at how basic some publications are though; for example some magazines review dvd writers. If it burns fast and comes with good software, it is a star performer. No mention of burn quality, which is the true measure of a dvd burner.

2008-07-25 23:53:00 | It occurs to me that Telecom has made McAfee Security Suite free for its dial-up and broadband customers. | Renmoo (66) | |
2008-07-26 00:12:00 | It occurs to me that Telecom has made McAfee Security Suite free for its dial-up and broadband customers. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! :crying I haven't heard them advertise that fact - hopefully it stays that way. Has anyone else noticed that all these horrible bloated security suites list improved system performance as a feature? Isn't false advertising illegal?
