I agree that too much real estate is being consumed by ads, mostly for the magazine that we already get!!! :mad:

How about adding mag subscribers to a usergroup that doesn't have to battle with advertising. Also as another suggestion, to get a better flowing overall layout, possibly shift and blend some adsense inline of threads (www.vbulletin.org).

I know "recent surveys" said that ads are tons more effective above the fold, but that doesn't mean make everything above the fold advertising. I'm still not sold on that "survey finding" anyway.
