| 801940 | 2009-08-18 23:27:00 | Sounds like the internal connectors were bent... Is this a front or back USB port? If it's on a bracket and you can disconnect, that might solve your problem. Otherwise, check the pins, if any are bent over and touching each other or the ground shield then bend them away if you can, you won't be able to use the port again but at least it might let the motherboard work... small flathead screwdriver and a torch might come in handy |
