2008-05-07 21:26:00 | You forgot the "I use Opera, not Firefox" option... Firefox and IE aren't the only browsers out there! Opera 9.50 Beta 2 x86_64. Build 1933 for Linux. I don't generally use an ad blocking plugin, but the occasional site that really annoys me gets the benefit of a custom stylesheet.

2008-05-07 22:48:00 | Used to use FF. BUT: 1. Some sites looked like crap, the text on some sites werent right 2. Copy didnt always work in FF, I had to refresh the screen before it worked 3. They need to fix the way (or find a better way), you put passwords in it 4. After a while some graphics on some sites, go all over the place. It did this yesterday, where the title on this site went 1/2 way down the page. I had to quit like 4-5 times to fix it. Sometimes you can clear the cache to fix it (which may fix it, or reboot) to fix it. Tried Opera 9.5 beta 2 for Windows. After a while, I had 4 windows open and the memory usage shot to 222mb lol. So, that was the end of that version. Reinstalled Opera 9.27, and using it now. And just block the ads I dont want. With right mouse / block content. Altho Opera 9.27 is just as bad as FF, 9.50 beta, and Safari with memory usage

2008-05-07 22:55:00 | Speedy, that version of Opera is supposed to use a ton of ram - it caches stuff like crazy (raw canvas & layer data among other things), which is partly what makes it so damn quick. | Erayd (23) | |

Think I'll wait for the final to come out Safari wasnt too bad, only thing is, there's no way to block anything . Well, there is if you use a Mac, but not Windows Actually, I wouldnt bother with any of these if IE 7 worked with all sites (saving passwords), but it doesnt, probably because of the site, not IE 7. And if IE7Pro worked properly (it doesnt), it crashes IE 7, when you close it sometimes, which is noted on the IE7Pro forum |

2008-05-08 03:06:00 | And for IE7 - IE7Pro. Thats if you like IE 7 crashing everytime you close the tabs. Thats what IE7 pro does at the mo. Its a known issue, and theyre trying to fix it Some users found that 1.2 doesnt crash as much (or at all), as the latest version tho.
