1441962 2017-11-15 08:06:00 Hi
We have 2 samsung mini s5 and their sd cards are not reading (coincidentally ?).
Can't see them on pc,(usb cable) re-inserted etc. Haven't had access to sd card reader yet to test there.
any shortcuts ?
Thanks

1441963 2017-11-15 08:44:00 Try formating the cards in their phone and see how it goes. CliveM (6007)
1441964 2017-11-15 08:46:00 Try... turn off each one, remove battery and sd card, wait half a minute then re-assemble. Turn back on and see if that helps. Greg (193)
1441965 2017-11-15 09:42:00 It could be broken, couse u havent used it right! Proffecanded (17585)
1441966 2017-11-15 18:42:00 don't really want to format as want the data. Can't see it to do that anyway.
Swapped and cleaned no change.
Have been fine for ages so how do you not use it right ?

1441967 2017-11-16 00:40:00 Some oldish (PC) SDCard readers simply wont read modern SDCards , been caught by that myself :)

You need to check them in a PC , via a 'known to be good' card reader .
There are some free programs to recover data from memory cards , but if the PC wont detect it either you are out of luck
