Just the annual line issues I have here, often after heavy rain. Only 2 more years before I can get fibre. You had Rain :eek: Closest thing to rain we have had was in the weekend, it almost arrived :(

Yes, thank god. Plum tree needed a bit of juicing up. :)

1443194 2017-12-17 02:27:00 I'm out at Te Atatu until 2018, house and pet sitting.

Here's the results from TA Peninsula:

Pathetic. But better than yesterday when I couldn't even get a Vodafone Home Network connection anyway.

At least I'm able to set up a 2 Degrees Mobile Hotspot on my S7.

1443195 2017-12-19 20:26:00 Useless. Speed as always (over 5 years) - less than 10 down, and 0.8 up. Online chatted with Spark last week, no fiber until 2020, and no VDSL currently according to broadband map. But Spark said they can provide the 120 GB VDSL plan. Including 3 months free. So Spark can "switch on" VDSL if needed?. Despite the maps showing no coverage? But the schools nearby have coverage. I seen chorus working on cabinet weekly across the road for a few years though. I feel like pestering the technicians to see what they are really doing...

But we blast through 300 GB per month so staying with the unlimited ASDL/2 unlimited plan. Spark sold me a modem for half price though HG531s V1. Small little thing. Some consolation I guess...

I'm my own ISP :D

fast.com gives me 390mbps when cabled, but only about 240mbps when I'm testing from my phone on WiFi. Such a hard life :P

1443197 2017-12-21 22:25:00 UFB Business Gigabit plan now available for us on the NorthPower fibre. :D
Now just need to look at upgrading the crappy switch so we can get the full benefit of it!
It's 1gig down, 500mbps up.
