I don't know, we were quite confused down south initially when people went on about luxing and their superheaters.....

Ok what is luxing ? vacumming maybe ? and superheaters ?

That's LUX in the US.

1442555 2017-11-26 23:48:00 Luxing is vacuum cleaning, derived from the most popular vacuum cleaner down here in the old days, the Electrolux.
Superheater is an expression for an electric hot-water cylinder in this case, (in the rest of the world it is a device to convert wet steam into dry steam).

1442556 2017-11-27 00:24:00 Aren't they used to keep the sun off your cherry in a Pina Colada, stop it getting redder than they are.

I could imagine a full sized one would not stand in the cocktail glass properly.

It sucks as it sweeps as it cleans .

Totally useless vacuum cleaners - they sucked dirt in one end and shot it out the other .

Until I bought my first Bissel Upright, I didn't know what a clean floor was .

A cherry? In a Pina colada?? Should be a bit of pineapple surely. Yummmmm.

That was the old Hoover slogan and jingle, Joe, I think. "It beats, as it sweeps, as it cleans!"

Sung to the tune of "The Caissons Go Rolling Along". I'm sure you will know how that goes.

Normally a piece of pineapple wedge on the glass and if youre lucky they also add a fermented cherry, all shaded by a tiny parasol. Not easy to grow sweet cherries in the tropics but I assume that's why they ferment them to mask their sourness.

I know that I was cross-breeding Hoovers and Electroluxi, but I have license to do that since I'm old. But don't let that scare anybody - I think this is one of those posts that should run all over the place.
