I think I would be on my guard. We have been burnt many times with this IT scam, and 99% of the time it is an Indian voice, unfortunately. Whenever I get a strange person calling me who's first words are "how are you today?" I am immediately suspicious, irrespective of accent. I think it is reasonable to be suspicious, but not reasonable to be universally hostile. | Tony (4941) | ||

Not indian, but he ddn't introduce himself first so I half expected to be told about my PC or sold something. He apologised (it was the survey people) and then said who he was. If they said Chorus, well during our install the Chorus tech rung numerous times. But he called from his cellphone, did have the main office ring a couple of times. However my install was in progress, I doubt they'd ring to encourage you to sign up.....if that is the scam you are referring to? |

As soon as I had the big pause then heard "Spark IT about your internet connection" I told her to go away(sort of) and hung up.
