1441204 2017-10-27 19:19:00 I've been using networx for a few years now.Only trouble is the latest one is not freeware any more. The last free one is version 5.5.5,So I've turned off updates and it's still working OK.
You can have a graph showing on your on your main screen but I use it with the graph showing on my system tray. Not sure if this is the 5.5.5 version or the latest.

1441208 2017-10-27 20:30:00 OK .. I have downloaded this ... because last night I played a couple of games that I usually play and it overused again.

However, I have no idea how to read what I am looking at .. can u help Wainui?

Leigh it won tell you what was happening before it was installed. What it will tell you is whats being used at the time.

For example Just manually checked for any updates.

The only item that was displaying any traffic was the processes. ( see Picture) Once the update check finished all the numbers went to 0.

8378

What you do is open the program, have a look down the list for any activity (may take a moment to settle) Any traffic will display, expand out if not to sure ad it shows the exact culprit.

using the picture above -- You look at the DL Rate for a anything that's downloading and the one next to it UL Rate for anything sending out.

1441211 2017-10-29 20:13:00 It could also be you actual internet speed has taken a dive : check the connect speed on the routers web interface
or , could be failing HD causing the PC to run slow as

plenty of programs runs as Peer2peer. eg music/vid streaming apps, online radio apps . If they go rouge they can suck all your internet speed , its rare but does happen
