| 668422 | 2008-05-12 02:38:00 | I just bought a Nikon P80. It has 18x zoom. I am wanting to take good zoom pictures & print pictures of birds in my yard. The lenght of the zoom is 486mm. I have been wondering if I should have bought a Canon & then buy a 300mm lens to put on it. Quite abit more money. I guess what im asking is am I better off with the camera I bought. I didn't know if a fixed lens is as good as one you put on. Thanks. | Debbie Houska (13741) | ||

I assume you are in USA since you used the term "my yard" Canon or Nikon are the best IMHO but you get what you pay for. A good Canon Digital SLR. canon.co.nz You can use Canon Lenses or several other cheaper brands fit the Canons. Or go with the Nikon cameras and Nikon Lenses. |
