| 667807 | 2008-05-09 23:55:00 | Who owns this DVD by Pink Floyd? I'm just playing it at the moment on my Rotel system and its awesome. Has to be loud (SWMBO is out). Must have been amazing to be at the concert itself. Least I can keep replaying it with the dvd. Money is especially good. Of course the question is whether it would be any better if Roger Waters played and sung on it too? We will never know. |

| 667808 | 2008-05-10 01:10:00 | Yes I have the Pulse DVD. I also have David Gilmours Remember That Night live at the Royal Albert Hall. As for Roger Waters being in Pulse I don't think it would of made any differance. It is funny that you mentioned Pulse because I watched Roger Waters In The Flesh last night and I think Pulse and Remember That Night left it in there wake. David Gilmour did most of the vocals and all the lead guitar work in PF and it seemed strange hereing RW doing the vocals where DG had done them. :) |

| 667809 | 2008-05-10 06:42:00 | Roger Waters is a moaning wimpy little bugger and over rates his own talent, "Radio Waves" is a good song, most of the other stuff by him not so much. Dave Gilmour is the MAN, great guitarist and vocals, all round genius, a good guy too, tried to help out Syd B many times when he was starting to go off the rails. I have seen the Pulse DVD a number of times, we also have a Pal Video Tape of the concerts with different versions of the songs, the version of "Sorrow" reigns supreme. Love the tree motif which keeps appearing through the shows. Pink Floyd - number one band, no question. |
