802819 2009-08-20 05:23:00 I want to buy some new speakers for my computer. I'm keen on music. Logtech seems the most common brand out there. Are they any good? Any other suggestions. I don't want to spend a huge amount...

802820 2009-08-20 05:30:00 Logitech X-530 (www.computerlounge.co.nz).

You will not be disappointed.

If you only want 2.1 go for the X-230 (www.computerlounge.co.nz).

802825 2009-08-20 21:53:00 +2 for Logitech, all my peripherals are Logitech DeSade (984)
802826 2009-08-20 23:12:00 All you people recommending Logitech have you ever used any other make of speakers to compare your statements with.

802827 2009-08-20 23:22:00 I always demo the equipment in a large retail shop before purchasing from my favorite online store. Logitech is just better.

802828 2009-08-21 03:09:00 I have the z-5500D. It is quite expensive, you could probably get a proper home theatre system for that money.
The only bad thing about it is the sub is boomy. But considering you can get high quality subs for the price of two sets of z-5500, well...

But other than that, it is quite good (not sure if it is good value!); it has spdif/coaxial in for dolby digital and dts decoding as well as your normal 3x 3.5mm surround sound inputs.
