802733	2009-08-20 04:28:00	I haven't come across a properly working laptop yet that won't start when the battery is out. I assume you mean the main battery, not the BIOS battery? The thing is probably dead, it's as old as the hills! What's the reason for trying to get it going?	wratterus (105)

CPU works in another board, can't try the RAM but did take it out/swap it around Since the backlight doesn't even try to come on, I expect either that is faulty and is causing it to not start (though then there should be something on the external monitor port, right?) OR (and I guess more likely) it's the motherboard itself....	Agent_24 (57)
