The cost just for Depreciation, Capital, Rego and Insurance comes to $5630 per annum, (so for these items alone you need to recover $108 per week.) Note that this is without any routine scheduled maintenance , or factoring in wear and tear replacements on tyres (45,000km), battery every 2 years, Brake pads and shoes every 75,000 km, rear exhaust assy every 100000 km or 5 yearly, clutch every 100,000 km - wiper blades, hoses etc; none of these being covered by warranty. (On the running of 15000 km per annum, it is relatively easy to arrive at a cost / km for these maintenance items.) I will send you a private message with the full costings and how they were arrived at. What are you paying for gasoline in your area - in Brisbane it fluctuates between AUD 1.30 and AUD1.40 depending on the day of the week the lower price being Mondays and Tuesdays |
