| 803544 | 2009-08-23 07:24:00 | Well lookie what I found (www.microsoft.com) on the MS New Zealand site - a few other trials - Enterprise has the same apps as Ultimate - I had a trial of Enterprise a while back - my ultimate key worked just now, I put it in and it came up with a green tick. Once again though - yours may or may not work, do it at your own risk.????? I know people who have brought the Office products, lost the CD and downloaded trials and the genuine / Legal key works with the software. The trial my be a "tie over" if you have to contact MS. I have contacted them in NZ and get through quickly - ( dont ring monday morning  ) they are usually busy. Telephone Hours: Regular business hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm 0800 800 004 Regarding that Error - try using IE - MS downloads, and I think those come Via Technet that does'nt like other browsers - IE usually works. You also have to have a free windows Live/MSN/ Hotmail ID. |

| 803545 | 2009-08-23 07:26:00 | Hey Wainui thanks for that. Had looked for an ultimate trial. Do you know if you download the infopath trial seperately, if it will require a different key or just integrate itself? Also is anyone else seeing this (www.imagef1.net.nz) when they click on the link to download one of the trials? Bob our IT support guys won't give us anything like that and its not availible for us ComSci students as far as I know. My dad who works at the uni went for that deal, and luckily the download worked the first time, and it is not bad software, but I wouldn't pay more than $80 for it. Office XP was good enough for him, but he needed to upgrade as Outlook XP doesn't work well in Vista. I tried emailing the people behind the Ultimate steal several few weeks ago with a prepurchase question, who I believe are Digital river, and surprise surprise, I never got any reply, and there is no other way to contact them. It is certainly a concern when there is no way to contact these companies. I would recommend sending Microsoft NZ a simple snail mail letter, and then follow it up by phone a week later if you don't get anywhere. |

| 803547 | 2009-08-23 08:07:00 | Fortunately I have a legal copy of Office 2007 Ultimate anyway which I bought and paid for before the latest offer which occurred after I became a Student. This means that I could take advantage of the offer but why would I? I guess the only advantage is that I have a legal copy and I did not have to download the same. I can also reinstall same when or if I want to. |

But is Enterprise include everything that Ultimate contains? One thing that urked me about Office Ultimate, is that the version didn't contain all the service packs, so you then had to download all the service packs too after you had installed it. I guess that is microsoft software for you. |

| 803550 | 2009-08-23 08:42:00 | What part of the offer is advantageous for you? None what so ever. I don't need or want to download Office. I have a license to use the software I paid rather more for a licence than where I could get it for less now that I am a student at Waiariki. I did not need to have an Internet connection to get the software at the time I paid for a licence. The offer does not give me an advantange at all. I do have a valid Student ID now but I did not when I paid for the license. Another advantage for me is that I obtained the software earlier and therefore may be ahead of the classmates. I hope I have explained this to your satisfaction. |

Much like I do most of the time too. |

You asked a question and I answered same to the best of my ability. What was the point of the question you asked?
