Usually what happens is that those who do bother to get down to the polling booth either want the status quo or they want the current government out or they may just want one idiot MP out. It does not matter whom you want out as we have the party list do we not. Depending on where an MP is on the list they can be back anyway. It makes a joke of electorates and the idea that the MP elected in will represent you and your voice in any way, shape or form. |

Sack half of the MP, as they are not required, abolish anything Maori, as in Maori Health, Maori Loans etc etc, Get rid of health managers, there should only be doctors there, justice?, send all violence criminal to Stewart Island to fend for themselves. Not sure about education, perhaps bring back loci parenti and the CANE! How about yearly refrendums so the government knows what we want, cause lets face it, they forget as soon as the get elected.... Definitely, I agree with all of that. The Maori stuff is not necessary as we are all supposed to be New Zealanders. What happens of the other communities want Govt Representations, we would have a merry mix of Govt departments Stewart Island might not be remote enough though. |

Their existence only serves to create a racial divide, does it not? I guess it's just not PC to complain about Maori having their own political party. |

But I think New Zealand, like most of the rest of the Western World, is going to be in a huge mess by this time next year and I'm not sure I want to see JK take the blame for it.
