| 668372 | 2008-05-12 00:56:00 | Talk about crap Antivirus, The customer had McAfee security suite - all up to date, saying the PC is clean etc. - Got the customers PC in the work shop - he said and I quote " My computer has got bugs, you can actually see them when it starts up, they are all over the screen" :rolleyes: Now heres me thinking - OK might be a few pop up windows, you have x number of infections buy now to remove sort of messages - so took the PC to the workshop- started it up, and blimey he wasn't kidding :eek: :lol: - ITS NOT a Screen saver (www.imagef1.net.nz) - thats what I first thought - but I looked and theres no screen saver running. |

| 668380 | 2008-05-12 06:51:00 | Nar It was actually part of a Virus, Installed Nod32 and instantly even before the PC had fully booted it jumped up and quarantined it, three different locations. PC runs nice now - so much for McAfee = utter rubbish. So far with all the scanners and manual deletion of bugs - 756 spyware/infections. |
