| 667549 | 2008-05-09 03:10:00 | Hi all I have recently transferred money from my National Bank account to a businesses National Bank account to pay for a subscription However I haven't heard back from the business, how long does it normally take for the money to appear in their account, so I know when to send them a hurry up email Cheers |

The payments are also delayed during weekends and holidays. So if you make a payment on Saturday, and the Monday is a public holiday, the payment wouldn't appear until Wednesday. At least that is how it is with the national bank. Also with the national bank, payments that are made to a NB account from an NB account do not appear instantly, they also don't appear until the next day. I think it is faster, if the company is preauthorised with the bank. |

I have found from TradeMe purchases that my payment often does not show up in the vendor's account for two days, depending upon the time of day I do the bill payment. I think the National Bank computers are powered by a little slave peddling a cycle generator. |

I have had people say they have paid me, and it never appeared becuase they had made an error at their end. You don't want to look silly. |
