804383 2009-08-26 05:04:00 Have wireless access to my home broadband connection with my own laptop but now wish to connect my work laptop to the same network. Only problem is that I can't remember my security key to give me access to my wireless connection. Is there some way I can easily reset the old password or read the old password off my old home computer 'without wiping it'. Help greatfully appreciated.

Just to add to that, here are the steps

1. On a connected PC, go run>cmd>ipconfig

Note down the default gateway.

2. Open your browser, then type that IP you noted down as the default gateway and hit enter

3. If it asks for a username/password, try admin with no password, then admin for both username and password. If this fails, search your manual for the default username/password or ask here(quote the router model no.)

4. Enter the Wireless section and note down the key.
