804370 2009-08-26 04:26:00 Hello,

when I used to get a movie clip to open in an email I would click the download line and a dialogue box would pop up asking me either to OPEN or SAVE the clip to the hard drive. Normally I would just open and watch the clip but the other day I saved the clip to a folder. As you do.
Now when I receive an email and I hit the Download line it automatically just goes to the Save to folder option.
How can I get the Option Box back so I can just Open the clip to watch?
I have looked in the Tools/Options Main Page etc and tried Mozilla Firefox Help, but so far no luck.
Please any idea's welcome.
OS Vista, using Gmail and Firefox.

804373 2009-08-27 09:26:00 That might be corrupt profile then....

Go run>firefox -profile-manager

Then make a new profile, and see if it works from a new profile.

804374 2009-09-02 04:52:00 Hi blam6,
i got a reply from a google forum member who told me to go into Tools/Options then Applications tab, find the programme that needed resetting (turned out it was the wmv app.) Reset it and now I have that function back.
So thanks for your help/ suggestions.
