804146 2009-08-25 09:36:00 Hi All,
I am looking for help with my game Need For Speed Pro Street. I can load the game but after about 3-5 minutes the windows vista error box pops up with the following. "nfs.exe has stopped working" and windows does its thing then closes the game. Have tried posting on EA.co.nz forums but have got no help. Can someone try to help with this issue. My system Specs are:

450w PSU
AMD Socket AM2 x2 6000+ 3.0GHz
2GB Corsair RAM w/heatspreader
ASUS M2N-SLI Motherboard
Albatron GeForce 9600GT
160GB HDD
Windows Vista Home Premium SP2

Have tried patches but still no luck.
Any Help is much appreciated, Regards, Aaron

804147 2009-08-25 09:59:00 I had the same thing on vista, never realy found a great fix for it. Try running in compatability for xp sp2, and if that doesnt help maybe try a no cd patch, it might help hueybot3000 (3646)
804148 2009-08-25 10:00:00 Try compatibility mode, right click the game>properties>compatibility tab>Try XP SP2/SP3, then Win98

Also try deleting all the contents of the "movies" folder if that fails to work. Keep it somewhere safe and stick the files back in if it doesn't work

804149 2009-08-25 10:01:00 also check event viewer and see if anything else is going on other than the game executable crashing hueybot3000 (3646)
