| 803642 | 2009-08-24 00:54:00 | Iv'e just bought an iMAC G3 OSX 10.3.9 350 MHz 256MB SDRAM just feeling my way around at the moment, I downloaded Firefox 2.0 and Thunderbird yesterday moved them both to the dock this morning turn on and they have both dissapeared. I don't know anything about mac's I know its an old PC but was just going to use it in the garage to play internet radio and email etc. I don't suppose its worth trying to upgrade oh I bought a new battery as it kept coming up with error about date! | micky (7329) | ||

You can then drag the application's icon from the finder to the dock for easy access. The dock icon will be an alias (shortcut). The dmg file will act like a disc so eject it after you have installed the application. (use the eject key or just drag it to the trash) www.apple.com www.apple.com www.apple.com S. ps. OSX 10.3 is Panther.. OSX 10.4 Tiger, we are now on OSX 10.5 Leopard ~ OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard will be available in Sept. Just make sure that the applications you are downloading will work with an old OS on a PPC Mac :) |
