| 803627 | 2009-08-23 22:19:00 | Hi All, Have been doing a large cleanout of user files etc on one of the WinServer 2003 boxes at work, and I've got a directory in C:\RECYCLER that I can't delete. The attached view is from Backup Exec. Is it possible to change the permissions on this so I can delete the directory, or should I use killbox or something similar to set it for deletion on reboot? Crikey, the thumbnail view a bit small! Have a closer look here (www.imagef1.net.nz) |

If I try to empty the recycle bin I just get --------------------------- Error Deleting File or Folder --------------------------- Cannot delete file: Cannot read from the source file or disk. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- If I unhide hidden and system files, and browse in C:\RECYCLER, I can see the directory S-1-5-21-907259417-2832890419-1950973730-1264, but nothing is in it when I open it up. If I try to delete this directory, I get --------------------------- Error Deleting File or Folder --------------------------- Cannot delete Dc102: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use. --------------------------- OK --------------------------- |
