| 670221 | 2008-05-17 10:38:00 | Race Driver Grid is a new driving game coming out by Codemasters, the people who did the V8 Super Cars series. There is a 900mb demo of this game to download and unless you have a Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.66Ghz or Athlon X2 3800+ don't bother downloading it. On my ancient system I was getting about 1 frame every 3 seconds. :( |

Time for an upgrade if games are your thing, otherwise consoles are a good, and relatively cheap alternative. Also, they tend to be better for driving games. A shame to download a 900MB file and find it wasn't worth your while. |

Ran it at 1280x1024 @32bit, 2AA (was all default settings when game loaded) , didn't change it yet but will see what happens if I increase AA, it is already running very smooth so thats cool. Very awesome game, had lots of fun with it. It's like a cross between simulation and arcade, feels a bit more realistic than the NFS series, but still too unrealistic handling, the Yokohama course with the S15 is real addictive! | Deathwish (143) | ||
