805172 2009-08-29 23:08:00 For what price and what are you going to use it for? Sweep (90)

805174 2009-08-29 23:34:00 For that price and for what you want to use it for, I would say yes. The cpu is the worst part of it that I can see after a brief look but it's still a very decent one Nictech (14748)
805175 2009-08-29 23:37:00 Oh wait, I see it has those crappy cash back deals going on it, so you will be paying the full $1200 up front & then have to wait for yonks for them to finally give your money back. Nictech (14748)
805176 2009-08-30 01:20:00 Calculate the price without the cashback and expect that.

You may not get your cashback!

How about a netbook?

805177 2009-08-30 03:43:00 Thanks for the replies(from NT). When he contacted NL, those were sold out. So, the next best thing I suggested him was to look at EEEPC as he's not sure if hi goes straight to UNI after leaving school(another year).
As he works regularly he just feels like spending a little.

School, music - Ok.
Game - what game? Laptops are NOT designed for gaming and anything half decent isn't going to run too well at all.
