It has had anti-spyware built in for a long time - it was only AVG that didn't come to the party with built in anti-spyware capabilities until recently. I didn't realise they had anti-rootkit in the free version. That is good. Oh, right. Cheers guys :) |

| 672109 | 2008-05-26 01:42:00 | Avast has only had anti-spyware, and anti-rootkit protection since version 4.8.1169 came out. As it says here under 4.8.1169 (avast.com) As of March 29th 2008 Previous versions before 4.8.1169, didnt have anti-rootkit, or anti-spyware protection built in. |
