670855 2008-05-19 21:57:00 Got that right, its slower than the snails outside.

Its not only the display that is screwed, its the speed.

Speaking of Safari, I finally found a program that blocks ads in it (I'm not using Safari now tho). Pity it doesnt save passwords for ANYTHING !

670856 2008-05-19 22:19:00 Well it looks better again now. And quicker too. (No, I am not mentioning the clock. Apparently Chill is not using his superhuman speed to be two places at once just at the moment.) R2x1 (4628)

What was the program (for blocking ads in Safari on windows) as most of the ones I found were for OSX, or where pay versions

670858 2008-05-19 22:43:00 I tried privoxy (http://www.privoxy.org/), which is open source, it blocks ads in any browser. Opera, IE, Safari, and FF.

All you have to do is put localhost and port 8118 in under proxy.

(under HTTP and HTTPS).

In any browser.

As PressF1 was down from about 09:42 pm last night (according to the last post for last night in both forums, I did not notice PF1 was down till 10:16pm) till this moring.
