805305 2009-08-30 10:25:00 1. Open Eventvwr
2. Sort by date if it isn't already. Select the latest event for today with your cursor.
3. Then scroll down, and holding the shift key select the first event for today.

Then, on the right hand side select save selected events as then save to desktop. Then upload to mediafire

If all else fails then I'll do this remotely via Teamviewer

805306 2009-08-30 10:28:00 When you open Eventvwr, under Windows logs, look under Applications and System - look for any errors at the time of the problem.

Double click the error to expand its contents, post back what the error message says. ( codes etc / programs)

BLAM-- Why upload to mediafire-- just post the results back here- you can highlight the data, save it as a txt file, which by the way, can be uploaded in ImageF1 -or posted back here.

BTW -
I'll do this remotely via Teamviewer You need a persons permission to do that - cant assume someone will let you connect remotely, could be information on a PC thats not wanting to be seen. (innocent or not)

805311 2009-08-30 21:57:00 Hmm that first 1 may have something to do with ATI drivers or video drivers. Is there a BSOD? Some sites say that 1st error may also mean something is overheating. Open it up and clean it Speedy Gonzales (78)

Thanks Speedy.
No Blue screen.
Apart from the startup/loading everything else is sweet
Regularly clean the vents. It sits on a glass benchtop so never much in the vents. Don't want to open it as it is a work machine(if it was mine no problem) but feeling around the body there is no area that is any hotter than it normally is(just warm to touch). Also the problem happened this morning when the machine was cold from being shut down all night.
Might just have to talk to our tame guru.
