| 805063 | 2009-08-31 04:30:00 | You install Windows Virtual PC first and then XP Mode, not the other way around XP Mode is a free download for Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate or Enterprise version users. If you don't have one of those version you can simply install your own version of Windows XP, I would recommend you use XPSP3 However, you can create a XP virtual machine from your own licensed XP media. Once you've done that, if you install the RAIL (Remote Applications Integrated Locally) QFE for XP, you will get XP Mode like functionality from your XP VM. www.microsoft.com Cheers Nathan Microsoft NZ |
