671804 2008-05-23 06:22:00 We got tornadoes, sleet, hail, snow, rain and a few other things of Biblical proportions going on here .

A train got tornado-ed off the tracks, snow in MAY! and sleet and just plain ol' strange!!! I saw two twisters when I came down from Idyllwild today at about 5:30PM . I hadda go into 4WD to get thru about 6 inches / 15 cm of penny-sized (1 . 91 cm) hail for over 2 miles / 3 . 33 km .

Our Winter is climatically over in the end of January .

Last week it was over 100ºF / 38ºC, and now it'll be fortunate if it gets to 60ºF / 16ºC for a high tomorrow, lows in the 20ºF / -6 . 7ºC range .

There is about 6 inches / 15 . 2 cm of snow in the local mountains, and last week all the Spring flowers were out and sucking up the sun .

Looks like we'll lose the apple, peach, oranges, grapefruit and other fruit crops this next season . All the buds were out and now they're all frozen . Bad part is that we'll also lose the avocados too .

Rats!!!! Chinese imports will be all we'll get now .

671806 2008-05-23 07:08:00 Yes, Man-Made Global Warming means more energy in the world system and hence more weather instability and unpredictability than usual, not just warmer everywhere as a few simple minded people on this site seem to believe. zqwerty (97)
