| 673491 | 2008-05-28 20:33:00 | Do not buy from OCZONE/SUPER SERVICES! I bought a mobo from them a month ago and I still don't have anything! On the 10/05/08 is was confirmed from POST HASTE that it had been lost in the mail and that I was to get a replacement mobo from Super Services (the company that handles goods for OCZONE) . I called super services they assure me that they know what they are doing and that they lay a claim with the post company . 16 days later still no mobo! I call post haste to get an update on claim . Gemma from claims tells me that their is no claim! Super services have not sent in a claim form! I spend the next 3 days trying to contact the manager at super services, but he is always either busy or at a meeting (yeah right) . I ring up as someone else and I got the manager straight away! But than as soon as I told him who I was, he hung up! However they did send in a claim form telling me that I will get my money back when they get their money back (it was going to be another month before I saw any money and they sent the mobo under a cheaper courier ticket that only covers item up to $60) . I did some legal work and under the "fair trading act" I have been treated unfairly . Also the terms and conditions for the post haste company state that with lost goods it is between the customer who purchased the freight (super services) and the post company . Not me! My contract is with the PC store and I have paid for an item I don't have and so I am entitled to my money back or the goods I paid for! I talked to a lawyer, he told me to take them to small claims but that will cost me another $100 and another month . What do you think? DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY THEY ARE DODGY! |

Not that the OP's post was really very inspiring, but that was hardly necessary. @ goth, OCZone aren't known for being very helpful with after sales service. Next time, before buying, ask on a forum such as this one, where people would recommend going to buy hardware. I hope you get your motherboard. Next time, buy from Ascent, Computer Lounge or PBTech. And a few others that I can't think of at this time in the morning. Good luck trying to get any kind of compensation out of them, and I definitely wouldn't bother going to small claims, waste of everyones time. Learn a lesson from this. |

| 673495 | 2008-05-28 21:35:00 | westygoth The missing mobo is Oczone's problem as they are the ones that purchased the couriers ticket and have to claim . They should send you a replacement board in a timely manner, you should not have to wait for the result of ""there"" claim . Courier claims can take months from personnel experience . Speak to them and point all this out, if no good, ask your bank to reverse the credit card assuming thats how you paid . |

| 673498 | 2008-05-28 21:48:00 | If you got an address go visit them and raise hell on their front door. But definitely don't deal with them in the future. Courier companies can be problematic at times I have the odd thing go missing over the years and getting any satisfaction from the Courier companies is near impossible, it is up to the sender to right the wrong normally. Going by the Shipping section on their website it looks like they would do their best to get out of any claim anyway, They have it mentioned several times that they don't accept responsibilities of the courier loosing stuff. A real big cop out IMHO. |

Buy another one from a reputable shop such as Ascent. Then take this to the disputes Tribunal. Cost of filing claim The Tribunal can deal with claims up to $7,500 (or up to $12,000 if both parties agree). $30 for claims under $1,000 You also get this fee back when you win. |
