Why are so many motherboards now a 'tool-less' setup, especially the more expensive cases???
ie no screwdiver needed to install vid cards & drives.
If you cant work a screwdriver, then you should be working on a PC
These tools-less (nasty plastic) options never seem to be as good as screwing the part onto the case. And you still need a screwdriver to install a m/b
& powersupply.:yuck:

I can change a drive in 30 seconds as opposed to 3 minutes!
Toolless cases also tend to have nice rounded edges so you dont cut yourself either.

Its the cases that are tool less, not the motherboards

672860 2008-05-27 00:22:00 As long as it's designed well, it's fine. Some of the cheaper cases are nasty and bits break easily - I have a Thermaltake Kandalf, I love it, hardly any screws in the whole case and it works great.

I dunno what your on about a tool less motherboard...

672861 2008-05-27 00:47:00 ....or for people like me whos tool box is constantly 'borrowed' and always comes back a lil lighter.... rob_on_guitar (4196)
672862 2008-05-27 06:29:00 its so your souped up personal electronic box can be more 'attractive' in a lan party, or any other public situation. Deathwish (143)
