| 672874 | 2008-05-26 23:10:00 | Just wondering what real-world effect fuel increases is having on everyone? I travel about 15 minutes each way to work and back, and get about a week and a half out of $80 petrol. |

| 672878 | 2008-05-26 23:50:00 | ATM, $0 (Pedal Power!), soon, god only knows (getting a kick ass bike, don't know much about it, but apparently it's 400cc, and costs $70 to fill). | ubergeek85 (131) | ||
| 672879 | 2008-05-26 23:59:00 | When I was living out of town, about 300km a week @ $60. Now I'm in town, about 100km a week, normally around $25. |

| 672881 | 2008-05-27 01:34:00 | 42 US Gallons / 159 Liters in tank capacity & I use about 2.5 tanks full each week. At $4.29 9/10 USD per gallon, and I use 87 R/M, so I spent about $451.40 USD a week and that's about $534.40 NZD a week. Being retired I don't get to drive as much as I used to. If I computed at the older prices, it'd be more like $199.40 USD or $246.58 NZD a week. If I was still working, I'd use another 50% more. Today I had a little project to work on in Idyllwild, and I wiped out $41.38 USD or $52.47 NZD in gas. Idyllwild is just the next town over from where I live too, but it is all mountainous driving up to 6200 feet altitude or 1889.760 Meters high. So there's a pretty big difference now. |

That amount on Gas is crazy . I think we need to get you into something a LOT more economical . SJ are you a retired billionaire or something? |

Yikes . . . you're nearly spending the same as NZ's average weekly income (approx $560 before tax) on petrol alone! |
