674682 2008-06-01 10:29:00 Just tried the RC, God damn, What they have done to the address bar is spastic. Covered half my screen with crap, all I was looking to do was reload the page. Thick I accidentally bookmarked the poxy page I was on half a dozen times by error.

Then when I went back to it and started to type in an addy an entirely different load of crap spewed forth, Visited pages, suggestions?, Book marks?

The beauty of FF is its simple, You can add bells and whistles that suit you if you want to, Yet they force this crap on ya?

I looked through the options and not finding a way to return it to a simple address bar, I uninstalled it, and instead installed IE7.

Much better.

Firefox, Your doomed.

674683 2008-06-01 10:33:00 Have you tried Opera? Particularly the second 9.50 beta. It's far from perfect, but in my humble opinion it outstrips every other browser I've tried, both from a user's and a developer's point of view. Erayd (23)

I find it is a lot better than FF2. AT least it doesn't pre cache webpages, and hog all the memory. Visually, it is no oil painting. I find it odd that you would also prefer IE7 than FF2, so is FF3 better then FF2, otherwise would you not go back to FF2 instead of IE. IE7 is horrible because you can't move menu items around like you could with IE6

Once, many many years ago, And I swore from that time on I would cut out my left testie with a soldering iron before I would ever let myself use that software again.

Surely your not suggesting Opera is better then leaving my testies exactly where they are?

I second that, it is my main browser, and it rocks. The only time I don't use it, is for websites that aren't designed properly and use non compliant code.

Thats interesting, I know thats an accepted fault of FF, But I have never experienced it, and I have been using Firefox since before it was called firefox.

Though I have the cache set to 5mb, Have it keep a history for one day,and run cc cleaner every so often.

674690 2008-06-01 10:42:00 You forgot the option I dont use it.

FF2 couldnt even display some pages properly

I might try FF3 once its final, if it does the same thing as FF2 its going in the bin
