| 674364 | 2008-06-02 05:04:00 | Well that is the way they set it up when installed. We have Telestra Cable and the Recorder has to be on to watch TV. If I put the Recorder in the Standby mode I loose the TV. Sounds like a cable missing. Not sure how Cable works but I assumed it had a decoder like Sky. Sky has a cable from Decoder to HDD/DVD Recorder and ALSO to the TV so it can play to TV or record or both. Whether the Recorder is on or off makes no difference to TV watching. |
