I call fake. Those monitors aren't even plugged in.

Pretty decent mock up though

676100 2008-06-14 00:53:00 I'm working on an application for a client at the moment that makes me feel exactly like the guy in the video... :D

Managed to keep myself under control so far, but if you hear about an IT contractor in downtown Auckland running amok, it's probably me!!!....

What code are you writing it on and what is it for?

676103 2008-06-14 03:11:00 Apparently (message.snopes.com) it was just viral advertising for the movie "Wanted" (www.imdb.com). sal (67)

I just the Test Analyst. It's a third party app (big international company that has sold my client a pig-in-a-poke) - Oracle backend (but a very old DB design) with a web/java front-end. The UI is not user-friendly (think 1990's and designed by self-taught cowboys) and the validations that prevent users doing silly things (especially around normal error corrections) are non-existent.

"Standards? How do you spell that?" - no adherence even to MS UI standards. Inconsistent behaviour and inconsistent design.

Looking forward to the contract term finishing in three months!

676105 2008-06-14 05:19:00 1990's UI  I guess the only good thing about clients like that is when they pay the bill. Some people don't like to move forward do they. vitalstatistix (9182)
