Open regedit (type regedit in the search box on the start menu) Navigate to HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class and select the key starting with {4D36E965-E325... Find LowerFilters and/or UpperFilters and delete the keys (right click, delete). If either of the keys isn't there dont' worry. Close regedit, reboot, after a reboot your optical drive should be working again. |
