| 807227 | 2009-09-06 09:39:00 | Running windows vista and the time is wrong. It says 9:15 atm, so I change it manually. But when I restart it goes wrong again. Google told me something about replacing the CMOS battery, but lappy is barely 1 month old. And time zone is set to GMT+12 Auckkland, Wellington. How do I fix this. | xyz823 (13649) | ||
| 807228 | 2009-09-06 09:47:00 | That's quite strange. Hmmmm. When you try to update via Windows Updates, do you get an error? I think it says 0x80072f8f for a date and time error? Otherwise, changing it from the BIOS might fix the issue. Wait till the experts come around and see what they have to say. But, generally you can fix the issue in the registry quite easily just by fixing a few keys via CMD or resetting the time and date in the BIOS. |
