676274 2008-06-08 03:54:00 Yes Speedy wins.
What usually dies first is the disks, then the CIA chips or the actual drive. Thats if you have one of the better batteries.

A bit of nostalgia....................
Pinball Dreams is working well.

lol I did HAVE 1.

Till the bloody battery leaked. That was the end of the that. Bugger it.

Spose, I could try and find another somehow. Only thing is I gave my monitor to someone for a loan. The idiot didnt give it back.

But yeah, I've still got a few games (Wings, Desert Strike, Bombuzal, Atomix) / workbench disks (1.3 , 2 , 2.1 , 3)

And a few programs, (Dopus, Finalwriter, CrossDos, CrossMac, GPFax)

It would have been a cheaper way to do it if Apple had licensed their OS out - they didn't and still don't. Considering the Mac OS 7.5 ran on a Moto MC68020 chip it wouldn't have been too hard to do.

676276 2008-06-08 20:43:00 1084S RGB monitor: I have two of these, that I use everyday as tv screens and sound, one of them lost video the other day, screen blank, no EHT, the other one is working fine, they have both been going fine for the last 10 years, when I got them around 1998 they were old and rejected by all then. zqwerty (97)
676277 2008-06-09 01:06:00 Now all PCTek needs is the 512K RAM expansion board to bring it to a whopping 1MB!!

BTW, has anyone got a spare amiga RGB cable? The shielding on the scart end of my cable is broken :( and the other end is of course unique to the amiga...

(PS: this is of course for the amiga 500)

Now if only I had some more games, and a joystick that was more reliable...
