I have a pc connected to the internet as a limited account with only a firewall (no av). I haven't had any issues and can't have any issues because trojans/malware won't be able to install themselves. |

| 807714 | 2009-09-08 00:25:00 | If you have a Spare Usb stick around, you could put portableapps.com/ Suite on it and then install ClamWin Portable (http:) onto the USB stick, then all you have to do is update ClamWin on any pc connected to the internet and then when it comes time that you want to scan the pc not connected to the internet, Just plug the USB stick in and start scanning it! This will save installing the AntiVirus on the pc thats not connected, and if you need, you can scan usb sticks and everything that comes into the pc with it... |
