However the author is obviously not an adherent to the global-warming religion. He talks about heavy frosts - if global warming is trending the way the 'experts' (like ZQ and others) say, frosts in New Zealand will be a distant memory by 2025... (Insert Tui ad here)

I believe the effects are temporary.

Granted with a bit of effort you can make them permanent, But I have yet to meet anyone better off for doing so.
