| 676424 | 2008-06-08 00:50:00 | I live in.. Crown Hill, Which is IN Milford (North Shore), Auckland Based on a zoom in of the adsl2+ coverage map provided by ORCON www.orcon.net.nz I don't seem to be covered by adsl 2 yet. My question is can you please tell me.. 1. Which exchange I am likely to be on? 2. If TELECOM is likely to have upgraded my exchange to ADSL2+ yet & just orcon hasn't done it yet (or if even telecom hasn't upgraded) 3. IF my exchange is likely to be on Adsl2+ (via telecom), is it possible to check this via the modem adsl linespeed? or will that still be limited to 8mbits? THANKS :banana |

Based on that map of orcon coverage & other research I think im on the Forrest Hill Exchange Also I read from the rollout plans that forrest hill exchange woulda been upgraded last year so I should already be on adsl2+ platforms So I guess the question is. If my modem is syncing at 4.5mbits... Is this the best i'll ever get |

If you can't even get maximum ADSL speed, you're not going to get any increase if they switch you to ADSL2+ My router tells me I'm in ADSL2+ mode, but I still only get connected at 3.4Mbit |
