| 676215 | 2008-06-07 21:34:00 | Since it records to Hard Drive you would transfer your Footage into your PC via USB. Downside of Hard Drive, DVD cameras is that you MUST transfer or delete the footage once the Hard Drive or DVD is full in order to record more. So you have to find storage for it somewhere. Advantage of MiniDV Tape Cameras is you transfer off what you want at the time to your PC and put the Tape away in storage for when you might want something else off it and put a new tape in the camera. Tape cameras tend use Firewire as opposed to USB for transfers. HDD/DVD/Media Card cameras tend to use USB for transfers. |
