807165 2009-09-06 03:40:00 Technical info:

*** STOP: 0x0000008E (0xC0000005, 0xB89A98D3, 0xF7403968, 0x0000000)

807166 2009-09-06 03:43:00 nothing before that in caps? Like for example IRQL_NOT_EQUAL_OR_LESS? nedkelly (9059)
807167 2009-09-06 03:46:00 I don't think so, it just say the usual stuff.
It didnt say anything about missing file.

807168 2009-09-06 04:59:00 Try restarting the PC, tap F8 until you get to safe mode etc: select Last known good configuration - If that doesn't work, start in safe mode- run system Restore back to when it was going OK.

To enter restore: Click Start, All Programs, point to Accessories, point to System Tools, and then click System Restore. System Restore starts.

Select a time/Day that it was going OK - let restore run - See if it will start normally.

That error message basically means corrupted drivers or hardware problems.

Has windows done any update - or have you installed anything then it played up ?

PS: welcome to PF1 :)

807169 2009-09-06 05:55:00 Test the ram with something like memtest Speedy Gonzales (78)
807170 2009-09-11 13:19:00 I already tried the last known configuration and system restore, both
doesn't work.

I had a virus that canceled my fast user switch
So I used a registry file that fixes my fast user switch.

But the next time i start windows , the bsod happens.
I think that's the problem.

807171 2009-09-11 13:31:00 What was the name of the virus you had? It may have installed a driver / file thats causing the crash. It may help if you post a hijackthis log, if you can. Boot into safe mode / networking, get hijackthis, install / run it, click on scan the system and save a log. Copy and paste the log here Speedy Gonzales (78)
807172 2009-09-11 13:47:00 Or get trojan remover below if the PC youre on isnt 64 bit. Install it update it in safe mode / networking. Then click on scan. Then select all options under the utils menu. If it finds anything, let it remove it then reboot Speedy Gonzales (78)
