677420 2008-06-11 01:23:00 Well as some of you may remember my letterbox apparently signed for an $1000 graphics card which mysteriously climbed out and ran away before I caught it.

Amazing isn't it.

677421 2008-06-11 01:59:00 I was having a urgently needed, small, cheap item delivered and specified letterbox OK as courier arrives 30 minutes before I get home in the mornings.

They left a letter in the letterbox saying goods were being held at depot and could be picked up next day. Was I hosed off!!!! That was "Post Haste"

Makes you wonder the point of talking to some people.

677422 2008-06-11 02:32:00 If it was me, I'd now complain to the supplier that you haven't received your speakers and see how the courier explains that your front door managed to sign for the goods...

I don't mind this for small, low value packages, so long as they are left out of sight of the street, but larger packages generally mean higher value, and are therefore targets for opportunistic thieves....

Well mun, it opens by itself. Doesn't seem to be able to close, though. Go figure ae.

677425 2008-06-11 04:40:00 What's behind the "Jamaican for a day" bit? Not hinting at a balmy summers day there in topnorthislandland are you?

Ken ;)

PS You have been waiting for someone to ask, haven't you, you naughty boy you!!
