Hey got a mate that has a HP Presario M2000 and he want to upgrade the ram so i looked around the net to find the max and cnet says 1gb max but he says that he saw 4gb max on the laptop somewhere. Who is right? |

Since when did system information know the max something can take?? It shows the brand/model of the mobo sometimes, but I've never seen that screen tho |

Ah, I thought you mean the program in windows not a separate program altogether. There must be a compaq / HP program on it somewhere, that tells you whats what, and the max amount of ram it can take |
