808412 2009-09-09 11:11:00 Hi everyone,

I am wanting to book some accomodation on a webiste, but there seems to be something wrong with the site recently and Im a little reluctant.

The website is www. lastminute.com.au

When I go to Hotels, Sydney, Sydneycbd, i just get hotel listings but no images. I used to be able to see hotel photos.
I have tried it on my work computer and get same problem, the actual website said they werent having any problems, and to email my security provider, so I emailed Norton and someone looked at it from their end (in the US), and get the exact same thing, no images and just a red cross. So I emailed the website again, telling them this, but it has been a week and half and it still isnt fixed,

Could someone have a look please?
And let me know what you think, I would have thought some a large company would have this problems sorted by now. Im not really wanting to buy anything online from them until its sorted.

Thanks in advance

808413 2009-09-09 11:20:00 If youre using IE, go to tools / internet options / advanced. Is show pictures ticked? Speedy Gonzales (78)
808414 2009-09-09 11:23:00 I get the same here. One says no image available and red Xs on the rest therefore I don't think it's your end. Using IE8 myself. Sweep (90)
808415 2009-09-09 11:25:00 I get the same problem too with Firefox and IE7.

Looks like a problem at their end. Did you take some screen shots of the problem to include in your email to the hotels.lastminute.com.au webmaster?

808416 2009-09-09 11:28:00 Im getting the same as Sweep. Could it be something to do with the actual website? convair (13650)
808417 2009-09-09 11:29:00 Its the whole site - Just tried it - the main page loads fine, the rest is either blanks, or just the names of the accommodation.

If you go to the actual site of the accommodation, their web page loads fine.

808418 2009-09-09 12:23:00 Thankyou all so much

I feel like Im going mad trying to view this wesbite,
their customer service told me so many times, it was my problem, and that they couldnt assist me, and I just kept asking to be put through to their tech suppport, but they wouldnt do it, kept saying must be my firewall!!!

Someone(manager) has finally acknowledged the problem, but it is still not fixed, which amazes me, she told me there would be no problem using my card on their site.

Would you??

Is it just a scipting error the no images or??

Thanks

Hi

Norton internet security took a snapshot and emailed me, then I sent that to lastminute.com.au

Then finally I got an email saying sorry, and that they were investigating it.

808420 2009-09-10 11:29:00 Hi ya

Just my question again

Would you go ahead and book with this website, even though it has been nearly two weeks and the photos links to all the hotels are still missing? Or would you not be bothered by it
May seem dumb question, i dont know:stare:

Thanks
