"Go to bootdisk.com and pick the Win98SE one"

Thats the first one you mentioned in the first page "DOS/Windows9X/Me/NT/2K/XP"

Next page -- Either of the two Selected (www.imagef1.net.nz).

Make the floppy, then as Sweep mentioned --Add your three files. Boot from the floppy.

809137 2009-09-18 08:14:00 ok, it doesnt have enough room to add the three files into the floppy after adding the downloaded file. it wont let me add the last file which is the BIN file. what can i delete from the WINDOWS 98 OEM package? art789 (15230)

You can use that one quite happily but a RAM drive is usually set up in the config.sys and autoexec.bat file.

ok. just tried it and i couldnt get it in there. so what do you suggest?
is there any file from the first windows 98 OEM that you thnk i can do without so i can fit in the BIN file? or can i just boot up with the floppy into DOS and use the dvd i burned with the three files? it will work right?
